6pm Services online!
We are trialling some new ideas for interaction with the communicators at our 6pm Services. If you have a smart phone (iphone or android) and a Twitter account, its really easy and we hope really helpful too! To see how to set it up, have a look at this - if you don't have an iphone, just use the same web address (www.syndal.org/6pm) and do what your phone needs to do!
The Syndal Young Adults Facebook group and page, and the Syndal Baptist Evening Service Facebook group are current and up to date sources of info for Young Adults. Both of them are often more up to date than this page! Feel free to join.
Adam's Blog!!
Adam Hince pastors the Young Adults of Syndal Baptist Church. Each week - he updates his blog and you can read it at www.adamhince.org. Often there are summaries of messages preached, extra notes or questions, info about coming Young Adults events ... and even sometimes just some thoughts on life!
Young Adults :: Social Events …
Lots of new things are starting up for Young Adults in 2012 and the program for the whole year will be available in early January. There are two groups for Young Adults to be a part of at SBC.
NEXT -
is a group for all of those aged between 18-23. The leadership group is really committed to making sure that the events are fun, that there is lots of chances to meet and get to know other Young Adults and that the group has a sense of belonging that is really strong.
The 2012 plan will be available soon, but in 2011 we enjoyed events like this ::

23Plus -
is a group for all that aged over 23. The term "Young Adult" doesn't really have an upper limit in many ways... so nor does this group, so if you are in your 30s and not sure if you fit, you do and are most welcome! The leadership group is committed to making sure that events create space to get to know other young adults, whilst not overcrowding busy schedules with too many things.
The 2012 will be available soon, but in 2011 we held events like this ::

Life Groups
Life groups are without doubt the BEST way to connect with other Young Adults at SBC. At the moment, we have groups that meet on most nights of the week.
We have space for people to join most of our groups - but on Wednesday night and Thursday nights there are more options.
To join one - send us an email and we will get you connected as quick as we can ... ahince@sb.org.au ... make sure you let me know what nights suit you, what sort of group you have in mind or any other things that you think would be important in us finding the best group for you.
Chinese Youth Fellowship (Cantonese) - early to late 20's
This meets weekly, usually on Friday nights at the church. For more information see our Chinese Youth program.
