This group arranges walks to many interesting places within easy reach of Melbourne. Walks are held on a monthly basis, usually on a Tuesday but please refer to the program for walks on Saturdays and Public Holidays. The walks are not demanding and would be enjoyed by any reasonably fit person.
Meeting place for all walks is in the rear Carpark at Syndal Baptist Church 588 High St Rd Glen Waverley. Tuesday walks depart at 9:30am, others at times to be announced. Transport is by car pool. Make sure that you wear comfortable clothing and good walking shoes, bring rainwear and umbrella.
You will need to bring your own:
- Morning tea
- Cut Lunch
- Drinks
- Personal First Aid needs
- Sunscreen & Hat
- Backpack
Cost: usually $5, unless stated otherwise.
Our next walk - Tuesday 21st February
Our walk this month will be an easy flat walk on the bike/foot path alongside Tarralla Creek. We will be walking from Gracedale Park East Ringwood to Croyden Park, after lunch we will return by the same track. New walkers always welcome. Bring: Morning Tea, water and suitable clothing for the weather of the day and lunch to carry. Cost $5.
